Consign Your Limoges Box

Have a hand-painted, hinged Limoges box you are ready to part with? List it with Limoges Boutique and reach collectors who have shopped with us for over 25 years. You list it, we take care of the buyer.

Perfect condition only

Every box must be in perfect condition, with no damage of any kind. That means no chips, cracks, repairs, worn or missing paint, worn gold trim, and a hinge and clasp that open and close properly. If a box has any damage, we are unable to accept it.

How it works

1. Sign up. Create your free consignor account in a minute. Our consignor agreement, including your share of each sale, is shown during sign-up for you to review and accept.
2. Add your box. From your consignor dashboard, upload clear photos (front, back, inside and the mark on the bottom) and write a short description and your asking price.
3. We review every box. Nothing appears on our site until we approve it. We may polish the wording or photos, suggest a price, or decline boxes that are not a good fit.
4. Your box goes live. It is shown alongside our own collection for 3 months. Before then we email you to confirm you still have it, and one click keeps it listed for another 3 months.
5. A buyer purchases it. We look after the buyer from start to finish and let you know. You then send the box to us, we inspect it, and we send it on to the buyer. A box that arrives with any damage is not sold and is returned to you at your cost.

Getting paid and shipping

• When you are paid: after the buyer's 14-day return period.
• Shipping: you pay shipping to us, and ship within 2 business days after a sale. Prefer not to deal with it? We can email you one of our discounted shipping labels and take the cost from your payment.

Where your box stays

Before it sells, the choice is yours: keep the box at home until a buyer purchases it, or send it to us to hold. After it sells, every box comes to us for inspection before it goes to the buyer, so our customers always know a box has been checked by us.
