Limoges is like champagne - both are associated
with the ultimate in quality, brought out on celebratory occasions when only the
very best will do. Only porcelain made in the Limoges region in west-central
France many be called Limoges. So it is with Sinclair Limoges Boxes. Charles
Martine (Sinclair ) was the first to bring a variety of French porcelains into
the U.S. in the 1950's. All Sinclair Limoges box production is hand painted by
an artist which specializes in a particular type of limoges box, with no use of
decals, or stencils - no shortcut techniques at all. Normal Sinclair Limoge box
production is around 750 to 850 of each box.
